Jaroslav Halakby ~Zarnage

This was inspired by fellow Canadian artist

who I met here on dA. She has an amazing gallery with a whole bunch of hockey paintings that blew me away, and I wondered if I could pull off something like that.

So here's my shot at painting Jaroslav Halak, my favourite player of the Montreal Canadiens. I like him cuz he's humble when he wins and he stays positive when he loses... and he proves that working hard does get you places! (ie: eliminating the Capitals, holy crap.)

Done in Painter X, touchups and Bauer logo added in Photoshop. (No, I didn't paint that logo lol). Photo refs were used.

And man, I'm never painting a goalie helmet AGAIN. LOL
